#DonateAWash for NHS Workers with Oxwash

As many of us enter month two (or more) of self-isolation, we are all looking for ways to give back to our communities and healthcare workers. At the Conduit Connect, we do this by supporting impact-driven entrepreneurs to help them survive and scale at a time where early-stage companies are under serious threat. Over the past few weeks, you will have heard from Hutano Diagnostics who are working day-in, day-out to create a test for Covid-19, MoM Incubators who are working with the NHS to help hospitals manage patient overflow by supplying low-cost, collapsible incubators to NICUs, and the London Interdisciplinary School, fighting for an education revolution to better prepare the next generation of leaders to prevent crises like these.

Throughout this process, we have been humbled by the way our portfolio companies are finding ways to give back to their communities on top of managing their businesses in such difficult times. One inspiring example is OxWash – the sustainable laundry service, who recently launched their #donateawash campaign on GoFundMe. For every £10 donation, they will provide free scrub and PPE washes for NHS workers and other vulnerable people in Oxford and surrounding areas. Their goal is to provide over 5,000 free washes as the demand for sterile scrubs and PPE skyrockets. If you can, please follow this link to donate and help OxWash provide this vital service for healthcare workers on the frontline.
